Concept 508 Peugeot Sport Engineered: high-performance vehicle

With this new hybrid concept car, PEUGEOT proves that electric is the source of intelligent new performance, which combines intensity and efficiency for new driving sensations. PEUGEOT SPORT has been entrusted with developing its new line of electrified products for pure pleasure.

The development of the line of high-performance electrified vehicles is entrusted to PEUGEOT SPORT.

The victories of the 908 (24 Hours of Le Mans) and 3008 DKR (Dakar) in international competitions, the 208 R2, 308 Racing-Cup and 308 TCR in customer competitions; but also the development of the Peugeot RCZ-R, 208 GTi 30th and 308 GTi by PEUGEOT SPORT are all proof of PEUGEOT SPORT's know-how.

Two 100% electric concept cars had already been developed: 208 Hybrid FE (2013), which displayed the performance of GTi with emissions of 46g CO2/km and 308 R HYbrid Concept (2015) which claimed 500 hp.

The Concept 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED capitalizes on these achievements and offers efficient and exceptional performance.

The PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® enhances the performance of the new Concept 508 PEUGEOT SPORT ENGINEERED: the compact steering wheel increases agility while the head-up instrument panel allows 100% acuity and concentration on the road.

The new seats, with optimized support, are dressed in noble leather and Alcantara® upholstery with Kryptonite and Onyx Black stitching. Every part of the cabin is shaped, including the windshield, door and quarter pillars which are covered in Alcantara®.

The one-touch gear lever also has a piece of Alcantara®, providing a new sensory and visual experience.

The door panels are perforated and reveal Kryptonite cells which are reduced to form a uniform strip on the dashboard, itself stitched with Kryptonite in the upper part. The central console is adorned with carbon fiber, all ensuring elegant sportiness.

No detail is overlooked: a subtle touch of Kryptonite is even applied to the inside of the door handles.
